Hey, tiny living enthusiasts! Joey Nelson here, VP of Park Model Homes. I just wanted to give you all a quick update about build times to help you plan your move into a park model home. Basically, if you are planning for next year, you shouldn’t wait to get your order in.

We work fast at Park Model Homes. We can handle the customization of a unit in as little as a day. But there are a few factors right now that are stretching out our build times:

  • Since the pandemic struck, we have been dealing with shortages of various materials and appliances. We have regularly found ourselves waiting on roofing, siding, trim, and other components to be delivered. There is no way to complete a home until all necessary supplies are available.
  • We have received a steady deluge of orders recently, so we are working through a backlog.

As the country is starting to open back up, we do expect the supply shortages to resolve themselves. So, build times should speed up.

But as of right now, our build times are ranging anywhere between four months from now until spring of next year.

The variation in build times depends on the manufacturing facility, the specific materials and components required, and the customization options you select.

That is why I urge you to make your order as soon as you are able. Doing so will help us to deliver your home within the timetable you need.

I know that you may have a lot of questions about park model homes, and may also still be trying to narrow it down in terms of choosing your layout and options. That is something I can assist you with during your consultation.

Also, we do have stock on order, but they tend to sell before we finish building them. So, if you see a model that you want, you are going to want to act fast.

Right now, you can check out our YouTube channel to browse the models we currently have available.

Please give us a call to let us know which models interest you the most. We can let you know what our current projected build times are and help you take the next steps toward owning your own park model home.
